My was THAT goal at chelsea in 86. On a sadder note was the way he conducted himself after Hillsborough. The city was on its knees at that time, and he helped us back on out feet. WHAT A MAN!

Definately the goal against Brugge at Wembley in '78 but another one is the goal at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea in '86 to help clinch the double in his first season as manager. Also the cheeky grin he gives when asked an inane question by the after match interviewer!  :bowdown

I haven't got any memories of Kenny as a player or manager, this second stint is my time to get a good experience of Kenny's Liverpool. Would be great to hear everyone else' memories tho!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Most recenlty - how he celebrates when we score.. that childlike face full of joy.. and when we scored at Chelsea..he celebrated beautifully in front of one 'El Rent Boy' .. Yes !

Week in week out always giving 100%.

I feel sorry for the young lads who weren't there to see the man play but its not a case of one favourite moment, the guy has always been totally committed. The look on his face when playing, his body language, his total knowledge of the game, the concern from the bench as manager, the way he carries himself now in his new role of rebuilding the club from top to bottom. He is, just Kenny.

I was to young for his last visits so I'll have to say his cheeky interviews and telling Wenger to sod off.

Brilliant compilation of quotes so far from The King

Linky Linky - The Kings Speech

The bit where he was in charge of our first game in europe talking with the foreign reporter at the press conference is absolute Kenny Gold     :D
