Established players with big price tags should be able to fit into the team and perform from day one, sure it might take time for them to get to 100% but they shouldn't befor a whole year before they remember how to cross a ball or score a goal!
So like Ronaldo, Drogba, Dzeko, Schevcenko, Veron et al then?
Ronaldo was a yong player when he arrived at Manure, I'd put him in the same category as Lucas for us. Veron and Schevchenko just didn't work, they never came good but then they both came form different leagues. Dzeko I thought was pretty good form the start but I don't really know to be honest.
My point was about established high money Prem players and that they really should not need a year to acclimatise.
