Progress overall since he took over... Yes
Progress this season? None at all after that outlay.

But where do you see the progress?
We are over halfway through the season and we are averaging 1 goal/game. We started our season 1-1 vs Sunderland at home and played 0-0 vs Stoke at home in our last game.
I see no progress from the 1st to the last game...

How much progress did you expect with 60mil ? Or is it more realistic to realise we needed to spend 60 mil to keep up and a lot more to start moving above the current top 5 ! City spent half a billion to break into the Top 4

Nothing wrong being concerned :)
I really thought we would be playing better when we finally got backing in the market.

City is already winning the league so that comparison is moot.
And how much did Newcastle spend to be above us?

How much progress did you expect with a spend of 60 mil on 6 players ?

Do you really think Newcastle will finish above us?

How about Spurs? They are 3rd and still have a chance to win the league and have hardly spent anything.

They had/have an established team - all the did during the summer was add in Parker and got Adebayor in on loan - that's two established prem players . They have done very well but I reckon yesterday could be the start of a stumbling period for them with some big games coming up

both adebayor and parker would have been excellent signings for us. whether they would have come here is a different story.

But their team wasn't that much better than ours last season, so you would think that after spending so much money we should at least be as good as they are. The thing is they made smart signings by buying players that they actually needed and players who would fit in their playing style. We on the other hand were too busy with the "British revolution of Liverpool" and made a lot of mistakes in the transfer market.

Just watching Swansea and love their philiosophy on the game. Every manager just carries on the tradition. First Martinez, the Sousa and now Rodgers. Everybody at the club knows the way they play and stick to it no matter who the opposition is.

I often struggle to know what our style of play is. As I've said before if we're wanting to play quick pass and move football then half the players we've brought don't fit this philosophy.
