Kenny's methods, tactics, motivation, formation etc. are all good, his English signings are god awful.
England get dismantled every 2 years at major tournaments, Kenny signing players who aren't even good enough to get into such teams beggers belief.

Our defence has been very good this season, we have the second best defensive record in the league, behind Manchester City. Where we have failed is in converting our chances which stands at a disappointing 9%. No wonder we're in 7th place when we've scored the same number of goals as West Brom, Swansea and Wolves.
We're creating a plethora of chances in matches, in the match against Arsenal we had 12 shots, only 4 were on target and only one chance was converted which was an own goal. This is why we're dropping points, this is what needs to be addressed in the summer. Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll and the rest of our attackers are not doing enough in front of goal. We can be thankful that Martin Skrtel and co are so solid this season, hell Martin Skrtel is one goal behind Andy Carroll.
If our squad had consistently converted a majority of our chances we'd be well within a top four finish, so I disagree with you alwayslfc when you say we're not good enough - we're just not clinical enough in front of goal and if this changes then we'll start climbing up the league table.

There's a lot to be happy about this season, we're playing good football, we're hard to break down and we've just ended a six year trophyless draught and we're still in the hunt for an FA cup triumph. Some supporters need to realise where we were a year and a half ago and where we are today and how much progress has been made. Kenny is unfortunate to have come in at a time where Mancini's Manchester City are really pushing on and Harry's Spurs have also grown into a fantastic team, arguably the finest attacking team in the league this season. I'll probably get accused of making up excuses for Dalglish, but I believe in giving a manager time, Kenny hasn't had enough time. I've always been proud of this club's approach with managers and how they'll back the manager to the hilt over a period of time. I hope this doesn't change anytime soon, because it will be embarrassing if this club follows the route that Chelsea and Real Madrid take, sacking managers willy, f*cking nilly!
If Luis Suarez (the main culprit of wasted chances), Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing & co start converting more chances then points will start to accumulate in greater numbers. Even Robin Van Perise said in the aftermath of our loss last weekend that Arsenal were fortunate enough not to have been 4-1 down at half-time. That says it all and the fact that we created 39 chances, 19 were on target and only 2 were converted. It's shame that we haven't got an inform Torres on our books, he'd have a field day with such chances being made.

we are not the finished article but we are not as bad as some people are trying to make out either, we beat chelsea twice this season both times at stamford bridge, we beat city at eastlands, united at anfield, arsenal at the emirates and beat newcastle at home and everton at goodison.
in 90% of the games we have played we have been the better side and have had good chances to win the games.
as you say mate we have just not been clinical enough in front of goal but that doesnt mean we are hopeless, there`s a lot to build on.

If we are not as bad as people are making out, then we certainly are not as good as you are making out. Reading your post you would think we are challengers nevermind being a mile off the top 4.
This is a poor league, the English teams have been getting their ***** handed to them in Europe all season, and still we are nowhere near them. We are a long way from the days of 2009 and taking on Real Madrid. The quality of our first XI has taken a sharp fall since then.
We are four first team players short, with the two most imperative signings being a quality partner in midfield for Lucas, and a quality partner upfront for Suarez. No more uefa cup standard players as our squad is loaded with them. The manner in which Athletic Bilbao took Man U apart again showed the disparity between our league and la liga. It was Rafa that set us on our way when he signed Xabi Alonso in 2004, hopefully Kenny can do something similar in summer 2012.
