Personally id have Pacheco, Sterling and Suso all ahead of him but i dont reckon Kennys gonna give them a sniff so id play him ahead of Maxi until the summer then sell him maxi, and Jova and get a decent winger/second striker like Turan for the first team

We should be selling all our deadwood/ old players in the summer, buying top quality first teamers and have the young players as back up. Better to have a world class team with youngsters as back up them have a squad littered with past it average at best players

No, Pacheco isn't the player everyone thought he was, if he was any good then surely Kenny, Hodgson and Rafa would have seen something in him and gave him some game time. However, it looks to me that Kenny doesn't rate him so much.

As for Sterling and Suso, they are 16 and 17 respectively. no premiership experience, still young and still raw, you can't expect the manager to throw them in the first team like that. They need to be introduced  slowly to aid their progression.

Joe Cole is a quality player when fit, everyone knows this, I would have him over any youngster any day right now.

He needs games, and I'd put him in rather than Maxi for the next 3 or 4 and see how he does.  Until he gets match fit he can't be judged.

He showed glimpses last night, and his touch is excellent still, despite being unfit.  Had he not been knackered, he might have chased Ngog and battered him for toe poking his chance last night.

No Pacheco is the player everyone thought he was he just isnt getting a chance to prove it. He outshone most of the quality players in the u17s tournement who are giving good accounts of themselves in thier respective leagues/teams.  Its ashame because thats another good talent who could perform for the next 10 years at a high level sacrified for a past it player who if were lucky we might get 40 good games from him before he retires.

Well Baros ripped the Euro competition apart back in 2004, but turned to out be a decent player nothing more. Even Diouf was impressive for Senegal and look how he turned out to be.

It doesn't matter if you do so well in international or not, competitions like that aren't based on consistency. Explain to me this, why didn't Rafa play him? or Roy? and now Kenny?  Maybe they saw something they didn't like, hence he is not getting a chance. I think he will go to a Spanish team in the summer if he keeps sitting on the bench.

I`m not sure about Cole. He aways needs/takes 10 touches before lifting his head for a pass.
Mourinho commented before that he plays to much for his self and not enough for the team. Thats what I see too.

So much wrong with his overall play ,it would literally take a whole thread to explain ....My explanation would be he is using a body double and the real Joey Cole is   somewhere b@lls deep in Carly Zucker , and who could blame him.... afterall he's f ucked this club and its fans for long enough

I think your being a bit harsh on him, I thought he did well when he came on, he did better than Meireles, tried to take on players and tried to create some chances

Agree with you MH. Starting to look more of a threat. Whether at the end of the season we keep him is another matter though. His wages would probably pay 2 players with some left over!

Get rid ..... I had high hopes over seeing this fella in a red shirt ,but he looks completely devoid of ideas and keeps stifling our play..... constantly running down blind alleys

hard to say much about him going by todays game, he did not get the ball much, well marked by west ham and they cut out most of the balls meant for him.
