JOE ALLEN- Official thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Joe is a decent little player and he's just entering the best 3 or 4 years of his career but I have to agree with Ace here, he's another Danny Murphy type nearly man. He's good, but not quite good enough.

He's not a bad player, but he's not good enough for where we want to be. I've been impressed by his sub appearances on the odd occasion, but don' think he's happy being on the bench.

Move on while he looks good. His recent performances have made him look decent and now's the time to cash in

Just one important goal and he is already a good player? For 110 games he played for his entire career and having only 5 scores, I'd say this dude really need to have a break. I mean a very long break. He should have a replacement already.

He made one "important goal"! Let that be enough for us to think twice. Personally I'm quite a fan. =)

A shame he has picked up an injury which will see him out for at least the next 3 matches

I agree with you on that, mate. We can't expect him to do all the hard work, can we?

Lol why are you wondering about it?

From how I see it, his contributions still aren't that significant enough. He still needs to work it all out. Lots of luck to him now with the injury issue.

YEah right!! isnt it odd to see only 1 football player in the field playing for his team? everyone have their own role in the team. If he did not played it well, ==== "There is always a room for improvement" :)) :blues:  :buttrock  :bowdown

Why Allen isn't first choice is beyond me...Considering Hendo shiite performance I don't get Klopps decision to keep him as a minimal impact sub.

Not a huge fan of Allen but anyone's a better option than Henderson at the moment. Allen has done more good than bad under Klopp in fact, and he was pretty good against United as well. Definitely deserves a shot. Can't do any worse than Hendo anyway.

Yeah he did play well when he came on against United and he is probably a bit unlucky that he isn't getting more of a look in ATM.
