LFC and Benitez have got it cut out for them this season, even challenging for 4th place will be a task this year, so we need to be signing some serious talent and quick.
Teams who are gonna compete seriously with us in the top half.
Bolton
Newcastle
Middlesborough
Birmingham,
Man Utd,
Charlton
These teams are considerably stronger this year, and we need to keep head and shoulders above the rest, but it does make u worry slightly. RAFA aint gonna just pull it out of the bag though, we need serious metal in the team.
I hope he signs the right people and quick or it could be a struggle.
We need another striker too, how about craig bellamy.

he's more injury prone than owen but at least owen scored 20+ goals a season

If we want to win titles and silverware, we'd have to knuckel down and work hard.
We have not won the title in 14 years, have been stagnating for the past 2 seasons in spite of all the efforts of Houllier and Thompson and need to change the way we play and the strategies we use. WE also need to have more tactical options which we did not have earlier on. With all of these things to do, can it be cahieved overnight when we don't have the spending power of Chelsea and with the generelly depressed market?
Get real man, and be a bit more patient. One game does not make an entire season and Bolton's 4-1 win against Charlton will not guarentee them a CL place finish come May.

We don't need a lot of money to win, we have a good manager. He took mediocore players and made them into champions. Liverpool doesn't have mediocore players imo.
