No we wouldn't fill it now- the mancs couldn't fill OLD t****** in the 70s/80s- but if you REALLY believe that we can come again , then go for it now and don't get caught short like we did in the 90s.

I, for one, have great hopes for the new management system as long as it stays long term.

Fair point JB but do you believe Morgan is here for the "long term" in terms of the maangement at the club and the current structures?

The last 2 AGM's have seen Morgan go off on one and now his Mrs vents her spleen. Smacks of desperation to me particularly the other night when most of us can see that the club is going int he right direction in tersm of the Manager and the playing style ........

The question is what they so desperate for

If the steps that have been taken in the last 12 months don't satisfy them what will ? POWER perhaps ?

Perhaps I am wrong but if we had a bigger stadium then ticket prices would most likely come down in price a bit in order to sell the extra tickets that would be available.

Games agianst Arsenal, Manu, Everton, Chelsea and the likes would sell out, but they may struggle to sell out for games against the smaller clubs and league/FA Cup games.

Hi Scott, Liverpool already have some of the cheapest tickets in the Prem mate but we don't sell out every game

The shared stadium would be mostly council owned and payed for.It would seat 70,000 fans at least.We could spend our money on the best players available(as in the Shankly ideal).Christ,it has to be worth discussion at least.

The thing is Greenred with these grand ideas, they generate an initial saving in terms of money spent on the project but long term it only creates problems.

Ask Inter and AC or Roma and Lazio and you find that the fans hate the idea and long for their own place,.

It's part of your identity to have a place you call "home" and if it's such a good idea why haven't other clubs gone down the same road ?

Selling out for an initial saving so we can build an even bigger stadium only to find we can't fill it (And Everton definitely couldn;t) smacks of an "white elephant" waiting to happen mate .

Everton are STILL banging on about the last time we shared a ground and that was over 100 years ago !!!!!

Dalgliesh is the only one talking sense in this topic, and him being a loyal fan and season ticket holder, knows the consequences of sharing with the bluesh.ite.
Maybe its just a scouse thing all my family are evertonians and they really despise the idea as well as us lot.
They wont even go to anfield on a derby day, and they arnt the only ones quiet alot of evertonians hate it, so whos gona be buying these season tickets?
If they wont even go across the park 1 game a season never mind every other week.
Noway it can happen Liverpool FC will never be the same again.
Would manure and city share?
would the toon and sunderland share?
would rangers and celtic share?

some good points there lynds, and the fact of the matter is if most fans oppose it then it's not gonna happen, cos in the end the fans are the ones who are going to be paying to get into the stadium.

In today's Daily Post - Headline - Stadium to cost £130m !!!
I think this is where Morgan is coming from about un-earthing financial details.
My bet is, if gains control: is Groundshare or can the project. He won't stand for all his new money going on a new Stadium.
