I dont think Harry would have any say in the matter, If Peter Crouch wants to leave then he can, why would he not want to play in the prem? He wants more England caps and wants to prove himself ffs if he scored 16 goals for a sh.it team like the Saints how many would he bang in with good players around him?
Crouch WILL want to come to anfield no doubt about it everyone will want to come to the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS now p.s. how good does it feel saying that   :buttrock  :D
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

YES.OF course.

He DID score 16 for Southampton. If he is in Liverpool with better midfielders as assistants, how many more can he score?

I'd vote Yes, but for no more than 2 mill.....and only as a back up/squad player. He could add something I think, someone to bring on and nick a goal or two in later stages of games.

I say yes!

He'll be an interesting signing to say the least and he'll be one of those players you'll be totally willing to score for us

I wasn't too keen on the idea to begin with but the more i have thought about it, the more i have come round to the idea. It's a YES for me but i would be very dissapointed if we paid more than the £5 mil being bandied about at the moment.

While i'm not convinced Crouch will turn out to be the shining light of next season he will certainly give the team options that are lacking at the moment. Obviously his height is his biggest asset but he also has a sure touch, will hold the ball up, bring others into play and looks to be a more subtle player than some people give him credit for. He did not look the least bit out of place in an England shirt (unlike Andy Johnson) the other day. Rafa likes a big striker in his squad (Carew at Valencia) and although Morientes is a big striker, he doesn't look (atleast not so far) like becoming your typical English 'lead the line' centre-forward.

If we were to sign him I don't think him and morientes would pair up too well, they both similar attributes IMO, and well of the two Moro is by far the better player.

A good addition to the squad he might be, as his height is always going to be a problem, and he gives you something different. But can't see him ever being a regular 20 goals a season starter.

to crouch move would be similar to harry kewell coming from leeds if you ask me. he'll fall flat on his face and he'll be way out of his depth.
Kewell came from leeds and was supposed to be the next big thing. so far, is obvious the LFC move was too big an ask from Harry.

Are any other teams in the hunt for Crouch?

£5m is a more than adequate offer for him, surprised they didnt bite his hand off!
