Liverpool striker Peter Crouch says the song sung about him by the Kop puts a smile on his face.
Crouch has been talking about life at Anfield, the day he ended his run of 18 games without a goal and also the stick he got while on international duty with England when he was booed by the so called 'fans'.
"There's a song they sing about me at Liverpool," said Crouch. "'He's big, he's red, his feet stick out the bed...'. That's funny. It's sung with affection as well."
When he finally hit the back of the net, he admits he celebrated by having a bevy with his dad.
Crouch said: "That night was just me and my dad - just the two of us. He was really pleased. He's always had faith in me.
"We went out for a bite to eat and then had a few drinks at home. Nothing serious, because we had a game not long after that. But he was buzzing."
On the England boo-boys who gave him stick when he figured against Austria and Poland, he added: "It seems a long time ago. I'm not interested in it. People have they're opinions and they're entitled to them.
"After the Poland game came the Argentina match, and people were superb with me, so I'd like to class it as a one-off. I don't think it will happen again.
"I didn't take it personally. At every club I've been to, people have taken to me and realised I can play. I think going into the Austria and Poland games there were a lot of people who hadn't seen me play. They've seen a lot more of me now and I like to think I've changed opinions."
Playing for England is important for any Englishman but playing for Liverpool is far more important as far as Crouch is concerned.
He explained: "As soon as you mention Liverpool everyone thinks of the history and size of the club. The club's always been famous for its strong Liverpool characters, and around the place you always see these famous players from the past.
"Speaking to them, you certainly know the history of the club. Stevie and Carra are the heart and soul of Liverpool, really, and all of us players know how much the club means.
"You'll Never Walk Alone is an amazing song. However long I'm here it will always be special to walk out at Anfield. I've been amazed at how friendly everyone is up here as well, what characters the Scousers are. It's really passionate. They know about the game. They're switched on people and love their football."
