Carson deal to villa  agreed

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

He is an ok keeper, the overhype surrounding him has been down to being at Liverpool and being English. If it is £10m then thats a great bit of business. Nice profit, hope we use it, plus some more, well and sound out a top forward NOW, for transfer in Jan.

shouldn't we wait to make the move permanent until after we play Aston Villa again?

£10 million quid?  Fantastic business if we get that for him.

Bout time we got some decent money back for a player.

I can't actually believe they are going to pay ten million for him? Feck me sideways the world has gone mad. Was it last season West Ham bought Robert Green for about two mill and Carson's worth ten? Anything more than five mill' and I'd bite their hands off at the elbow.

Just put it in the contract that he cant play against us in any games this season

10mil, more than happy to let him go for that

Feck me if they're going to pay ten million, not only can he play but we could sign an agreement that when we have a shot we won't kick it too hard.

Make no mistake, Scott will be englands number one, its just that we cant get him in the side past Pepe.

Good keeper, thanks for the memories, but £10m towards the January coffers is great news.

£10million for Carson would be a cracking piece of business for us not for villa though, with Deadly Doug in charge getting money out of them was like gettin blood out of a stone, this Randy geezer sounds like he's happy to piss money away and get arse raped at the same time! :D

Again it proves that if a player is English the players value simply doubles. Carson is a decent keeper but with the quality being shown by Reina he was never likely to secure the no.1 jersey long term.

If they offer 10M, we should not only bite off their hand, but eat their whole fookin arm.
