It is said on the news today that Carson will be signing for Aston Villa today on a season long loan.

If he does go who is gonna be our cover for Reina, and is this gonna happen every season until either he gets sold or replaces Reina.

  Me and you have completely different views then, because I think he is a great goalkeeper.  I thought he had a brilliant season last season with Charlton, and was voted their player of the year.

Yes that's part of the loan deal, I think with the European Championship coming up he wants first team football to stand a chance of getting selected, so I can see his point.

I have watched him countless times, verdict being he aint no where near good enough for liverpool. 

Yes, he was ok last year at Charlton where he was busy nearly all the time.  At a decent side you need to have good concentration, he aint got it.  Allso got to be one of the worst goal keepers at penalty's that i ave ever seen.

Thats my verdict and im quite sure it will be Rafas verdict aswell.

Championship-winning sides need to have 2 good players for every position...    he's as good cover in goal as any other team has (Apart from Cudicini at Chelsea) and Reina is bound to miss a couple of games a season - especially cup games. I think it'd be stupid to loan him out now, especially with only this Mihylov character as backup who doesn't look tested at all.

I hope this doesn't happen.

Agree with Murph and Bamaga man, i just dont see why people rate Carson at all. He might of stood out for Charlton last season but keepers of relegated teams often do as they are the busiest players in general.
He is not great with crosses into the box, gets beaten too easily from distance and like Murphy said at facing penalties extremley poor, diving before the kicker has even touched the ball nearly every time.
To be honest i would of sold him as we might of got a few million for him after his decent season with Charlton.

He will not be missed at all by me.
