Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think he has just been bought to fill up the home grown quota. I can't see him being anything else than a bench warmer unless Cavlieri is being sold. Cavlieri is far better than him imo.

That's worrying if he is, as i think Cavalieri doesnt look great at all when i have seen him.

Have you really seen enough of Jones or Cavalieri to have a proper opinion on them? I can't say that anybody else here really has, Cav has played a handful of game sand looked a bit ropey and as for Jones, does anyone (bar St.Mick and i'm not even sure he bothers!) ever watch Boro?

We've had plenty of lifelong fans that state they need to leave as first team football is most important

I had seen Jones in Boro's last season in top flight couple of years ago when Southgate was still in charge. He was very poor back then and also let in few silly goals which a decent keeper would not have let in.

Do I remember him coming on as a sub and playing a blinder against us a few years back? Or am I dreaming?

I think that since Cavalieri wants to go, Jones would be a good enough back up with Gulasci as a third choice. From what I saw two seasons ago Bradley wasent too bad, if we signed him back then I wouldnt care if him or Cavalieri was the back up keeper. But I havent seen him play since then but from what I've heard from you guys he sucks big time now, so I'm not sure whether or not he's a good sign, also considering the sum we paid. But as I said I think that he will be good enough. Too bad Itandje is such a moron, he was great at Lens at the time and would have been a perfect back up. What will we do with him now anyway?

I suspect Woy has a reason for signing him, he seems to have done things quite well so far.

Cavalieri wants to leave, that's why

Would rather have a youngster on the bench - more money wasted IMO

and then watching us get raped should Reina get injured?

Brilliant plan  :idea
