I think almost everyone misunderstood the question. You were supposed to consider age as a factor such as maybe Henry wouldn't be a great person to just plop on your team considering how many years he is going to give you even though he is quite good.  The question says nothing of who was the greatest player ever or which player was the best in their prime.  I would have to go with C. Ronaldo, we need flair, help on the wings, goal scoring and he is very young, would consider Messi as well.
