Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

This lad looks horrible.

He must be better than he's shown so far, but even at that he's never in a million years going to be the answer for us at left back.  Can't trap a bag of cement.

to be fair, it's early and he's only on loan. Still think many under value Enrqiue and forget how few and bar between good left backs are in this league.

Or in Europe for that matter. Enrique's a good player. Very good passer of a ball and likes to play the game the right way. His long passes into the channels and for Suarez are excellent, its good having at least one forward who makes runs into channels for defenders to hit and its good having at least one defender who find them forwards as apose to just aimlessly hoofing it.

from what he has shown so far he is by no means an upgrade  :no  he's probably on par with enrique's right leg  :nod
id be even more shocked than he looks if his move where to be made permanent  :lookaround

This is what our scouting department could come up with?

Horrendous signing

Disaster of a player.

Don't know what the terms of the loan are, but I'd be tempted to send him back to his parent club in January in a similar way to how we got rid of Sahin last season.

i forget who it was now but one poster was questioning the wisdom of this move before he even signed, basically saying he`s been playing shyte for ages.

I'm guessing  his parents insist on him wearing a crash helmet and knee pads if he has to venture out alone.... frighteningly bad.

The thing is physically he looks like a beast. The reality appears to be a clumsy lump who can run, but not much else.

To be frank I think Robinson is a better bet to cover for Enrique. This guy needs to improve by 300% to be good enough.

Beginning to wonder if we've got the actual Cissokho and not just some extended family member !

Wouldn't be the first time a club had been conned in this fashion. Anyone remember Ali Dia ? supposed to be George Weah's cousin and a Senegalese international who'd played for PSG. Southampton took him on a months trial he managed a 20 minute first team appearance before the penny dropped and it was realised the fella was an amateur and they'd been conned.
