Cheers for the breakdown Reg.

Think this period is where City may (hopefully) falter.

Tuesday Apr 10, 2019     Tottenham Hotspur - Manchester City CL
Sunday Apr 14, 2019 Crystal Palace - Manchester City
WednesdayApr 17, 2019 Manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur CL
Saturday Apr 20, 2019 Manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur
WednesdayApr 25, 2019 Manchester United - Manchester City

It's a gruelling schedule. Five games in 15 days !

3 games against a more than decent Spurs side
An away game at combative Palace
Culminating with an away game at the Scum

Honestly think it's gonna take something out of them and they'll drop some points in the league games.

In the same period Apr 10th - April 25th
We have four games against less daunting opposition
If we can keep our nerve we can nail it down and grab the title  :buttrock

I reckon that's spot on woof. Squad depth definitely plays a part but its not like City can field a different 11 and hope to keep up their performance. Also, being thrown into the starting 11 when the stakes are at their highest is not going to be easy at all for their squad members.

The key 6-7 guys that start most of those games will be kn---ered afterwards.

We just have to focus on ourselves. City could well become victims of their own "success" in getting this far in all 4 competitions.

I really don’t wish Aguero any harm because he is a brilliant footballer but a little hammy would help

City have a tough schedule after their match with Fulham, and you'd think if they're going to break at some point, this is it. However, we have a tough schedule ourselves as well in the same period, with Spurs and Chelsea at home, and two relegation battlers that won't be easy to beat away from home (Southampton and Cardiff).

Although we might not have it as difficult as City, we probably have to win ALL of these 4 games, since we are the ones chasing City and not the other way around. The thing is, basically we probably have to win all of our remaining PL games to win the title, which puts us in a more difficult position than that of Man City IMO.

Surely something has got to give amongst those fixtures! I'd be surprised if they win all of those, and fatigue is going to play a big part in the title race. It just hinges on if we can win all of our matches in the same period.

Fatigue will be a bigger problem for us as the pool of players we use is a lot smaller than theirs and the quality of their replacements trump ours. We have a tight little period ourselves with Spurs, Southampton, Chelsea and Porto twice all in the space of 17 days. If both teams progress then it will be harder opposition again for the semis which will be sandwiched in between our remaining 4 fixtures. That will be another tough period with 6 games in 21 days so we have a lot to do ourselves.

Without a shadow of a doubt this is the toughest part of the season.

In terms of the swingometer, I'd say it's 60/40 for City to win the league right now based on their point and goal difference allowance and the depth and quality of their squad to cope with the fixture schedule.  Will re-evaluate after every game!

We've a weird, but potentially beneficial injury list at the minute. Physioroom has us 5th in the injury list table BUT most of our players will be back at the end of the international break, for instance, Andy Robertson, Hendo, TAA, Shaq and Naby with the Ox and Gomez to return soon after. May help us if they've had a break before the vital run-in.

I just hope our boys can hit our top form round about now and pull this off.

I know we can handle the pressure of big games, we did it last season in the Champions league with that amazing run.

City have had 3 ridiculous penalty decisions and 2 contentious offside / handball assists in the last 5-6 games, their luck and the refs assisting them will run out very soon.......

We just need to keep winning.

City have got 8 high profile games in April.. I'm betting those tired legs will crumble.

In heindsight, \i don't think our season hinges on the Spurs or Chelsea games...

We BLEW IT, when.....

If we do fail to win the league, the crucial moment was when we lost 2-1 at CITY when we were 7 points clear.

we have no one to blame but ourselves.

He played Milner, Hendo and Wjnaldum for that game, a BIG mistake.

Milner, Hendo and Wjnaldum are not going to win you a league title, I dont care what any poster says.
