I think if we play the way we have been playing, there is no reason AT ALL we cant get 4th place, in fact, it looks pretty good that we might just do it with the run in fixtures we have.

lets just hope 'our' rule doesnt ome back and bite us - beat chelsea to fourth only for them to win the CL and take the spot back again

I think the Torres saga is all the motivation the lads need to push for fourth, nothing quite like a player thinking hes too good for your team to make you want to prove the guy wrong.

Im with Anti hero in thinking that the trickiest game in the next 6 is away at Sunderland, we dont have a great record there and they have a formidable record at home this year. The home games to the 2 Manchester teams will give us the twelfth man advanage but Bruce has been a real fly in the ointment for Liverpool the last few years, but the feel god factor is back and I think the lads will now be thinking they can beat anyone.

I'll be rooting very hard agianst them in the CL.  I think Abromovich has bought Torres to win the CL this year.  Look for him to bring in Benitez if they get bounced out of the CL this year.

i thought that if you won it and still failed to finish in the top 4 it was tough titty?.
cant remember what the fa ruled at the time for future scenarios.

its a tough ask and ill stick with kenny on this one and say we just have to keep on winning games and see where it takes us.
he knows what he's at that one:D .
6pts and they also have a game in hand so you have to expect its 9pts we have to haul back but 4th clean sheet in a row and we are improving every game so who knows.
i definately do think we will come close, very very close:D .
if carroll and suarez can have an impact they can be the difference in turning tough games from draws into 3 pts.

Don't know about fourth we'd have to keep winning right till the end to stand a chance. Next four are Wigan(h) West Ham(a) United(h) Sunderland(a). Chelsea's next four are Fulham(a) Birmingham(h) United(h) Blackpool(a). Also we've only got 12 games left Chelsea have a game in hand. We play Wigan two days before they play Fulham next so as long as we win it will put some pressure on them.

The word for today is karma. How fitting that after selling El 'made the worst decision of my life' Judas to the rent boys, then that happens. If karma follows suit we may indeed knock Cheatski off their 4th spot perch. Pah!  :D

they're hovering around our area in the table, and we need to pick up points from them.

Does that mean potentially Andy Carrolls first game could be against Sunderland.. a little extra reason for an amazing performance

After seeing Spurs get walloped 4-0 by Fulham and how toothless the chavs were tonight, I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibilities. How fantastic is it to be able to believe in such a possibility? I'd say much depends on how quickly Suarez settles in and how soon Carroll can get fit. Can't wait to see how we play when we finally have both of them in the team.

Well thats the remaining fixtures for the top 6
Add up the points you think the teams will get to what they have now and we'll have some idea of where we'll end up.

Obviously its impossible to predict but im just putting it out there so you can try and guess for yourselves.

This is the points the teams are currently on:

Utd 54
Arsenal 50
City 49
Chelsea 44
Spurs 44
liverpool 38
