Just finished watching"We own the night"
Best movie i've seen in ages.
Its about the cops trying to stop Russian drug dealers in New York in the 70s.Joaquin Phoenix has proven again that he is one of the best actors of a generation in my opinion.
Mark Wahlberg plays his bro in it and Eva Mendes is in it as well(shes fu.cking gorgeous too)

Great story,no need for any special FX sh.ite in this movie,i did'nt want it to end!
9.5 outta 10!

Have already seen it and unless you know Spanish or dont mind the subtitles, its a really good film. Would give it a 9/10. Well worth watching...

It might be a spoiler (but you have to see the film to know why) but watch it anyway. Theres loads of twists and turns in it.... its a bit "Mad Max" only female if you know what I mean

Its a really good movie.

I use that one Karen,i used to use movieforumz but the FBI shut it down!
When you click on a movie they give you a rating in a percentage,of the quality etc.Ratings are voted by users and are spot on usually.Loads of good horror flicks on there.

Look out for "Borderland"
Its a true story about a cult in Mexico,not giving anything away but think Hostel and Wolf Creek combined!! :cool:

Well to be fair as the title says Movies: What have you been watching.

I would think the expectation of spoilers is pretty high

im not bothered by foreign language film at all. I shall be watching it in the next couple of days.

As for doomsday, I will be watching it anyway.

haha im not that stupid thanks. I would expect warnings in the post before the spoiler! I want to read the thread without having to worry about such things.

Watched Semi-Pro at the weekend.

Im a big fan of Will Farrell and really enjoyed the likes of Blade Runner but this was a bit too silly. There is one or two laughs along the way but all in all its not great.

5/10

Crash - watched it a few days back and I think it is a brilliant film, its on tonight at 9pm on one of the freeview channels if you aint watched it yet

Cloverfield - I'm not one for all the fucking about with the camera movement so I wasn't expecting to like this film but I thought it was ok - first 20 mins a complete waste of time but pretty good after that.

Meet the Spartans - started off very funny but like most spoofs and "funny" films it got boring and just not funny the longer it went on.
