Sid Lowe the journalist from the Guardian that wrote the Spanish Awards article, is commenting the games of England on the Spanish TV, and I think he's nice because he explains us what the fans are singing, some interesting insight on the team, and touches of good humour.
When he was asked by the main commentator, What's up with Theo Walcott everyvody he's raised many espectations, he answered "that's because nobody in England has watched him playing".
About Ferdinand he said, "I'm personally much more calm when our ball is in the middle, because Ferdinand sometimes is mentally absent, in the games, and even in his life".
About Cole, he said that it doesn't take much to watch him in the floor, and that he's that kind of ball hog that in the schoolyard never wanted to pass the ball to his mates.
When he watched Hargreaves, he said, "oh, that wasn't what I wanted to see".
He spoke well of Gerrard and Crouchy.
On a personal comment, and although Sid Lowe didn't comment anything on it, don't you think the best of Gerrard is with a midfielder behind him? he's very tied on defensive work IMO, he does well because he knows to play well every position, but I'd like him to have the same role he has in Liverpool.
