I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

At least we won... I'm kind of tired of saying that on games like this one. Better than creating 30 chances but still losing at the end of the game though.

This is true

Actuelly it's not really accurate...In the medium and long run you will always lose ,and lose when it counts. Any Win which was a result of poor performance should be considered as a loss. If you didn't understand this after so many pitifull years of negative football you are bound to repeat it more years to come.

Try telling that to chelsea and all their "fans."  Last year's FA Cup, and more importantly Champions League final couldn't be a better counter-argument to what you've just said.

This is what wound me up the last time we were in the euro cup. The refs are absolute gash.

Agree 100%.

I saw the result this morning and felt the same frustration as I did last year - we cant score and have to rely on OG's to win games.
Our impotence in front of goals is a sure reciep for mid table oblivion.

We have to bring in a proper striker ffs.

So are we Chelski's fans now  :)  ,anyway in 9 out of 10 ,poor performance would lead to poor results ,in the long run ,positive tactics ,positive football brings results. Every once in a while their will be a Chelsea or Greece that will take the championship but that's not the way. We should insist on positive football first and worry about results later.

Cheer up, lads, we're just following the Liverpool (of recent vintage) template for Europe: pulling out a ropey victory on their patch before stuffing them at Anfield in the return leg.  Put me in the "job done" camp.

We just got the job done and I think Reina had the ball at his feet more
times than Borini.

Tika taka with the keeper more involved than the forwards.

Shelvey and Spearing were both wasteful with posession again and only
confirmed they are clearly not good enough to play for Liverpool and
Henderson is teetering on the edge of that group along with Adam.

Wont come together until Rodgers puts pieces in that can play the
system and style as its obvious a lot of the lads we have on the books
simply dont fit the bill at this point.
