TAA handball wasn't because it hit Silva's hand first - any contact with a hand in a build up to a goal means it's disallowed ...just like Manes recently which was never intentional but led to him putting the ball in the net.
9 points clear-wow,
We have just got to keep our feet on the ground. Chelsea drawing with City next IMO and we win our game.
We will be 11 points clear and that would be nigh on impossible to claw back and I think City would wilt after that, especially with them playing pretty much the entire top half of the table in the next 2 months.

Palace
Brighton
Everton (H)
Bournemouth
Watford
Aston Villa
West Ham (postponed)
Leicester (A)
Wolves
Sheffield United
Every premier league game is difficult and our next one (Palace away) is no exception, but given the gap and given City's tough run of fixtures (starting with Chelsea at the Etihad) if we could somehow keep up this relentless pace a bit longer then these next 9 games could turn out to be the most pivotal in our recent history.
Even though there would still be half a season to go and even though our players haven't had a proper pre season and could well run out of steam down the stretch Im beginning to think that the title will be won and lost between now and new year.

As I said given City's fixtures and given the pressure they will be playing under I think we've got a unbelievable opportunity to extend our 9 point lead between now and the new year. It wouldn't surprise me if we find ourselves 11 points ahead after the next game, Chelsea are in great form and getting a draw at the Etihad is certainly not beyond them by any means.
Chelsea have got goals in them and City as we saw today look pretty ropey at the back.

Hopefully Man City, Chelsea and Leicester all drop points against one another (with a series of draws) and we silently steam ahead. But I'm very worried about the world club championship and the affect it'll have on our team's fitness. In fact, I'm secretly hoping that Klopp will bring one or two reinforcements in January, because our front three will be running on fumes if they play ever single match over the next 6 weeks.
