Suarez's position is untenable, it's as simple as that.
On that note, he's put a blanket ban whilst on international duty with the media about this issue and he's even asked his Uruguayn team mates to keep quiet about it - I wonder what that's all about.![]()
He clearly will be isolated from the team until the end of the transfer window. Then depending on his attitude to apologising he may be invited back to training sessions before his ban runs out.
I personally cannot see his pride preventing him from apologising or at least speaking to th club on the matter. It will kill him if he doesn't play football, my feel is this will be resolved by the end of September. I think he will remain with us till the end of the season at which point WE will put him up for sale.
The irony being if we do make the top 4 what his intentions of leaving will be then??
