Not one of his best thats for sure. But a lot like Reina we be fools to let him go, on his day he is unplayable and need we forget that in Rodgers philosophy of attacking being the best form of defence - Johnson fits perfectly into that system.

anyone know what the deal with our martin is ?
seems to have done a "doni" this last few weeks. he isnt listed as injured and didnt make the bench for the villa game.

wasn;t he injured for the stoke game? So you could assume he's not up to match fitness. Will see one way or another, as if he is ready then he'll surely play in the league cup.

Not match fit after injury. Also not playing tom against Notts Co

I think that Rodgers just doesn't rate him enough to even put him on the bench. We're probably trying to sell him to someone as well.

We could have got decent money for him last season - but £10mil is about right for him after a season on the bench.
