i dont think he`s creative enough to be an attacking midfielder though mate and he did well earlier on in the season in the defensive role when lucas was out.

As soon as I saw the lineup with the injured Allen over Lucas or Hendo, I had a horrible feeling about the game.  Allen seemed to pass the ball to them more than his own mates.  I thought Lucas should have started to make sure we couldn't get dominated like we did, but I get where Rodgers is going with the more attacking Allen, however if he wants more attacking then he should have played Hendo, not Allen who hasn't been good and who needs surgery on his shoulder.

Overall absolutely awful performance.  I had a feeling we would drop points in this one, but not like that.

Was Allen really that good at the beginning of the season? Yes his completed pass rate was high but a five to ten yard pass backwards or sideways doesn't really set the world on fire. Personally I don't think we had got used to his game. Generally speaking he has been very average.

I reckon Joe Allen will have a lot of fans eating humble pie next season ,of course this is just my humble opinion ,but nonetheless one
that proffers that unique trait reds fans were once blessed with.

Patience ,a ridiculous concept I guess ,but one that used to be prevalent amongst supporters.

No,patience when practicable .I think if anyone on this forum should comprehend this it has to be you ,as its no secret that over a number of years
the same patience afforded to your good self is wearing decidedly thin .

What was exactly you just posted in the General Chat forum and here you are with a cheap dig at me ?

You got to practice what you preach RBG

Paitence when practicable is another way of saying some will be afforded time where as some won't - all dependant on how each supporter rates a specific player.

You are willing to give Allen time despite a very poor season yet want to sling Downing out despite having a better season than Allen.

Could you perhaps explain the first highly unintelligible part of that post ? Something maybe more conducive with 'common sense' .
As I have a hard enough time imagining you ever smiling .  :D

Have you already forgotten what you posted in this thread about sticking to "football debate"

I used to give you the benefit of the doubt Benny ,but lately your attempts to dominate these boards with often indecent haste is becoming
frankly tiresome.... I wont add any thing further on this ,only to finish with its not just me who rather than enter into any form of debate
with you, deems it now an essential part of maintaining their sanity to place you on ignore .
