think we have got to sell him in the summer. not sure why he has been so poor this year.

I agree, he doesn't seem able to dominate a game, he's hit his limit and it isn't good enough.

Agger is also looking very plain.

Because we play with a 2 man midfield that the opposition can walk right through.

I wouldn't mind if he stays. Since Carra's retiring, somebody has to be on the bench.

This, last year he had a good run of form and thats it, hes never been anything special

Exactly.

This "system" has exposed our defense and Rodgers hasn't once tried to re-address this.

Every one of our defenders this season has had a nightmare or three at different points including Agger. There's no consistency across the back four and it's compounded by the system and the lightweight midfield that's set up to primarily attack. It's tactical misconduct of the highest order.

I was personally delighted to see Skrtel back yesterday ,albeit him playing a bit part. I'm still torn about where his future lies.

I personally believe Skrtel has been made the scapegoat (by those who need one ) for this season ,and last season he gave some
outstanding performances that subsequently seen a lot of top clubs rumoured to be bidding for his services.

Skrtel has been poor when he had played this season - made a number of mistakes that cost us games and had zero organisational skills hence why Carra was brought back into the team

Good defender on his day,and given a long run in the team he would certainly cement his place alongside Agger. We all know he couldn't
play alongside Carragher and looked far more cohesive with Agger. Juries still out on the lads ability ,but I actually love big Martins
attitude ,and it wasn't too long ago he was one of the Kops favourites .

Attitude is all well and good - but application and ability is a bit more important. Skrtel was just making too many defensive errors because he can't play a high line.
