Watching the Swansea match now - if this is the way we're going to play next season with Kenny in charge, God helps us. To those hardcore Kenny supporters or so-called "true" supporters, it doesn't matter who is right - the Pro-Kenny camp or Anti-Kenny camp. It's Liverpool that matters to me most and I'm sure Kenny will be the first to admit the club always comes first. Ask yourself this, are we playing anywhere near the standard of a top 4 team? Remember, Kenny wanted to sign the British trash, yes it was Comolli's mistake for failing to negotiate lower prices but it was Kenny who wanted the players. He got them and failed to make them perform. Now I know some of you insisted that this is only their 1st year, they will come good next season - be honest to yourself, if they were signed by someone else and not Kenny, will your reaction be the same? Why does Kenny deserves another season? Tell me one good reason. Why? Bcos he won us the League Cup? Bcos he led us to the FA cup final? No bcos he is a legend. Pathetic!!!

Do us a favour ,go and support someone who wont expose your obvious fragility .....We need supporters(try it sometime ) not fucking critiques

Was i wrong to say Kenny failed to perform? Was i wrong to say he was accorded more patience than any other managers? We won't get to the top with blind faith ALONE. We need to rectify all the mistakes we made this season. Can Kenny do it? Can he be trusted with more transfer budget? Gimme some good logical replies!

99% of liverpool managers get time to build their own team, the only exception has been hodgson, he was just unlucky that the 2 yanks were in charge when he was appointed so he was seen, rightly or wrongly, as a yes man brought in by them.
it took shankly 2 and a half seasons to get us out of the second division.

Interesting comments by Dalglish today on the coming transfer window. He said only Aurelio was planned to depart (out of contract). He said they would be looking only to make additions, which suggests both Joe Cole and Alberto Aquilani could play a part next season.

does anyone seriously think maxi,kuyt,spearing and carra are going to be any better next season or that aqua and cole will turn us into top 4 material?.
we need to offload that lot so we can fund replacements and give their wages to the new guys.

i think maxi and possibly kuyt might leave and i think doni wants more gametime too, they might be the ones that request to leave to get more playing time.
i think as regards bringing players in i dont think we`ll spend big money but we`ll try to unearth a few diamonds like newcastle and even everton have done with jelavic. he cost 6 or 7 million and is scoring nearly every week. when everyone is back and fit we have a decent squad and one or two of those could transform us.

I'm glad the season is over. Next year with Lucas back, we should improve but can we attain top 4 next season with the same players and manager? I really wish we can but i really have doubt. With KK in charge next year, he will keep playing his favourite rather than fielding the best team. Even if FSG is willing to open their vault, just not comfortable with KK spending the money on over priced and overrated British talent (also have question about KK knowledge on talent outside of the Premier league). Not to mention KK's in game selection and decision. Not trying to be too negative but how much can KK improve? Being stubborn is fine if we win but game after game, mistake after mistake and the fact that KK doesn't seems to be able to motivate the players really worries me. Objectively speaking, I really do not see any hard evidence suggested by those who wanted to give KK another year other than telling people to f'ck off by not supporting KK regardless of the process and result. Blind faith is not a bad thing but how many times it ends up working out? It simply prolonging the pain. Why teams pay top dollar for a top manager? It is because of their skill set such as motivation, tactics and eyes for talents. How many of those attributes you see KK has? Compare to the top managers in the world, how would you rank KK? I really wanted to believe in him but if you step back and look at things objectively, you have to realize he is not in the same class. No one would argue what KK had done for LFC. But it just might be a good time for him to step down for the good of the club. It is sad truth but sometimes hard work doesn't always mean success.

Tony Evans the Times saying that there is a big chance Kenny Dalglish will be axed .... decision to be made this week after FSG does a review of the season

I can understand FSG's decision if they do inform Kenny that he's to pick up his P45. His management of the club this season, especially in the second half of the season has been poor, very poor. Our form since January has been that of relegation candidates, let's be honest here! He's done well to get us into two cup finals, that was a fantastic feat and something Kenny deserves a lot of respect for achieving. However, our league form has been pathetic, he's missed a great opportunity to really propel us up the league table, but he's wasted that opportunity with poor signings for expensive prices. Once again in the aftermath of the defeat to Swansea, Kenny has said his side didn't deserve to lose, we were unfortunate and in truth I'm fed up of this over-used excuse. We deserve to be where we are this season, make no mistake about it. We've been poor and had this been Hodgson there would have been protests outside Melwood and outside Anfield as we speak. If Kenny does stay for another season, then he needs to re-group and work on a conjuring up a winning formula. However can a 61 year old manager really change? I'd like to believe so, but many would believe otherwise.
