I'd love if we got Caicedo, epl proven and a beast. However, if we can't cough 50M for Lavio we really think we'll get Cai for 100M lol.

Well just heard on radio, apparently Brighton have accepted fee for Moses and his coming in for a medical this afternoon.

I hope he is worth that sort of money

I honestly don't care how much we've offered for him, if it all goes through it'll be an absolute game changer for our season.

This is the ambition we were craving for. Get this over the line and we got our midfield sorted for the next 7-10 years. I think Caicedo will join if he gets to see our set up. I can see the excitement of being in Chelsea though.. its a great place to live.

Get in there    Hopefully we get it over the line today without any hiccups!!

Given what we need this year and the relationship he has with Mac, This is the best signing we could have made. It will give us much better shape and stability.

Chelsea not giving up. Sounds like they're trying to throw more money at Brighton and Caicedo to snatch the deal away from us.

Difficult to justify the price, but if you would’ve offered Mac Allister and Caicedo for a combined 145 million, every club would’ve snapped your hand off for it.

Not looking good now.  Player reportedly still in London holding out for Brighton to accept Chelseas offer.

We obviously never spoke to him on personal terms because if we did this wouldn't be happening. Should have let Klopp say nothing at the presser about a deal that's completely up in the air.

Don't think Jurgen said anything of substance regarding Caicedo, niether conformed or denied the possible transfer..
Anyway as disappointing as it may be if a player really wants to join another club ahead of us lets wash our hands of the fella and move on.
Maybe we should now just pay the 50 million asking price for Levia and spend some remaining cash on Andre Trinadade and we'll be more than sorted.

He confirmed or as he said I got told I can confirm that the fee with the club is agreed. 

I think it's pretty obvious for a while now that he wanted Chelsea and had agreed terms with them. Pretty sure a simple conversation on a call with Klopp would have clarified what he wants. While I agree there is nothing you can do if the player doesn't want to come and therein lies the issue. Contact the player to see if he's open to it before you announce it at a presser. Now its just further embarrassment.

I do feel sorry for Lavia in all this. He wants to come and has agreed personal terms but now being left out to dry because we walked away over a few mil in valuation.

We have always sounded out our targets before moving for them so why not now. Does this not seem unusual anyway with snap auctions and midnight deadlines. Maybe Brighton just used us to get Chelsea to make their move. They knew he had terms already agreed with them so looks like they played us which just adds to the hurt.
