If they buy both they will have spent around £340m. But I've just looked and they made £255m from sales this summer.

I've got a awful feeling they're gonna get both. What a mess!!!

Good grief, missing out on both Lavia and Caicedo is not going to look great and really feels like we've had our underwear removed by Chelsea.

Obviously nothing has been confirmed but it's not looking great and feels more and more we have to let other teams dine before we get a chance at the table.

What an almighty mess...do we really want a player that clearly doesn't want to come to us?


Chelsea working on British record £115m Caicedo deal
Sky Sports News understands Chelsea are now actively working on a deal to sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo in the coming hours.

It's understood the fee could be worth a British record £115m.

Caicedo has made it clear he wants to move to Chelsea after rejecting the chance to go to Liverpool.

Wouldn't surprise me now if the club won't spend that 115 million but will still say that they're willing to spend "big"....

What about last season when they spent half a billion without selling anything? I thought they would cover that with this years sales but they're still spending. If they get both Lavia and Caicedo they'll be spending way over their earnings.

Something feels a bit off about the whole situation and how it's being played out. Still wouldn't be surprised if Lavia did come to us and Caicedo to them.

I think Caicedo is following wayward advice. We don't usually go this far unless we know a player wants to join us. They settled terms with his agent and then he tels Caicedo to hold and wait prior to going for medical.

This is a mess from our side, desperately needing a DM and potentially losing out on 2.

Chelsea have spent more than 1 billion on players since the new ownership, not sure how they can get away with it.
