I wonder if that Musialowski (sp?) lad will get a run out in the cups next season, he looks an exciting talent that lad.

Putting all the intricacies of the PL and CL rules to one side (maximum of 17 non-home grown players, maximum of 4 association-trained players in the CL, etc.), if you look at the first team squad on the club website and just select 25 players, I'd say it looks something like the below currently. I think people are going to be surprised by how much faith Klopp has in the core group of players he has assembled and talks of a "rebuild" or "clear out" will be way off the mark. I could see Shaqiri, Origi and Minamino all leaving with us bringing in 1 attacker and 1 midfielder. For squad purposes that would leave Ox as the 7th attacker. Similar in the way we carried an 8th midfielder last season and considered Fabinho as the 4th choice CB.

3 goalkeepers: Alisson, Kelleher, Adrian, Pitaluga, Karius, Grabara

8 Defenders: van Dijk, Gomez, Matip, Konaté, Phillips, R Williams, Davies, van den Berg, Trent, N Williams, Robertson, Tsimikas

7 midfielders: Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Keita, Ox, Jones, Milner, Grujic

7 Attackers: Firmino, Salah, Mane, Jota, Shaqiri, Origi, Elliott, Minamino, Wilson, Ojo, Awoniyi, Woodburn

Apparently we've completed the signing of Ghana wonderkid Abdul Fatawu. He's 17 years old and the transfer fee is around £1.5m.

Don't know much about him, but sounds like a no brainer given the fee.

Some wonderkid from the Ghanian second division    chances are he will never play for us just like the Nigerian wonderkid we signed back in 2015.

We have an excellent reputation when it comes to signing 'wonder kids', so I don't know why you are being so downbeat.

Does no one remember El Zhar, Pongolle, Le Tallec and Jack Hobbs? 

You're always hoping that these so called "wonderkids" as the press label them turn into long term first team players but we've done quite well out of developing them and then selling on. Brewster sold for £23mil, Ki-Jana Hoever for £13mil, Solanke for £20mil, Danny Ward for £12mil, Kevin Stewart £8mil, Ibe for £15mil, Canos for £4.5mil, Jerome Sinclair £4mil, Sterling £50mil, etc

Apparently Daka turned us down for more regular game time at Leicester. At least we were in for him I suppose  Looking forward to seeing him play next season.

Laporta has been pointing fingers at FSG and the Glazers for being behind the ESL  .

Don't think we should be selling him tbh. He cost us nothing and is a decent backup for Trent. We can give him enough games if we wanted to. Easy money I know but its not like the lad is a bad player.

TAA is going to dominate that position for another 5 seasons so if he wants a career he has to move on.
