Surely we're due a loyalty card from Southampton?

Any updates on Subotic? I read he's pretty much said he's leaving Dortmund, I fully expect the Klopp link to kick in (whether that's based on anything solid is another thing)

you would think so.... latest rumour is we are looking at Ryan Bertrand from there also 

£34m for Sane could rise to £36m. The saints fans are laughing once again as Liverpool fund them once more. As for the player, I like the look of him and Klopp could turn him into a world beater. If Klopp thinks he's worth £34m then so be it.

Really don't get this Mane signing...Not the price and not the hype...Would have easilly snapped some talent from the Polish ,Czech ,Hungarian teams playing in the Euro's...Not another fcking Saint's player...

Its a fair whack but Mane is not only a good playe and a proven premiership player, but has a grit about him.  We need lads with determination, guys that feel they y are destined to win and be successful.

good player - 3 seasons time we'll sell him to Real Madrid for £60m, just after we win our 2nd league title with him scoring 32 goals a season.

Apart from big robert the lev...who else is there ?  At least we know Mane and he has premiership experience

Either he'll be class and move up a level with us... or he'll completely crash and burn.

Big gamble by Klopp. These are the signings that make or break a manager's tenure at a club. Fingers crossed he turns out good.

Plenty of goals between Sturridge  (provided he stays fit), Firmino and Mane. With Origi and Coutinho also chipping in, quite a few options there. Think Benteke is finished at us

He's a tricky customer who brings pace, direct running and goals to the table and I'm looking forward to seeing him link up with the likes of Coutinho, Sturridge and Firmino in our attack. That said Southampton have absolutely fleeced us with the fee.

to be fair to Southampton we've always had a decent effort put in by the ex-Southampton players. Lovren, Lallana and Clyne are still very much first teamers, there's only really Lambert that was a disaster. I don't get what the hang up is about it? Who cares?

We have to be realistic about out targets. Let's be honest, Reus, Draxler, Aubameyang etc were never going to happen.

Apparently Mane was someone Klopp wanted at Dortmund so I'm fine with him coming in. He has proven he can do it in the league and in certain games he has caused havoc with his pace and directness. I remember him absolutely tear the Chelsea defence a new one and they just couldn't handle him.

Yes question marks over his consistency but he will open up space for our other players with his style of play.

So when we are up against a team who park the bus, Mane is the type to run at a player or two and take them out the game and creating space, something we have been desperate for IMO.
