Shaqiri, 23, appears likely to leave the Bundesliga champions during the January transfer window, having become frustrated with his lack of playing time with only three league starts in the first half of the season.
The Switzerland international considered his future last summer, but claimed Bayern turned down a 20 million-euro offer from Liverpool.
"Things could move fast now," Eddin Shaqiri, Xherdan's agent and brother, told 20 minutes.
"On the other hand we have until Jan. 31 to find a solution."

The Reds have identified pass-master Pjanic as an ideal replacement for Gerrard, and reports in Italy say a bid is set to go in for him in the coming days.
Brendan Rodgers is willing to dish out £23.5million for the Bosnian, and will also give Pjanic a contract worth £60,000-a-week.
The 24-year-old currently earns about £53,000-a-week, and has been looking for a pay rise, with Real Madrid also linked with a move.

Liverpool now lead the chase for the England international, as they start to prepare for life without Steven Gerrard. Due to his contract running out at the end of the season, if Milner isn’t able to come to an agreement with City, he will be available to be snapped up on a free transfer.
The 29 year-old has been reportedly attracting the Reds for a while now, and his impressive form this season has evidently furthered their interest in the energetic midfielder. Clubs such as Arsenal, Inter Milan and AS Roma will also be keeping an eye on Milner’s contract situation.
Oliver Kay of The Times also states that Milner has told his teammates that it’s hugely unlikely he’ll be a City player beyond the contract’s expiry date in the summer. If true, it seems as if Milner is already planning and looking ahead to life outside of the Etihad Stadium, with Liverpool, as it stands, his most likely destination.
