Strong rumours about Drjo Srna, Shaktar Donetsk right-back and captain.

If true we would be getting a TREMENOUS player and leader. Is having a MOM performance currently in the UEFA Cup final.

In come Tevez (23 Mil), Barry (7 Mil), Silva (14 Mil) and Hangeland (6 Mil).

Use the 10-15 million guaranteed from the group stages of the champions league and the money made from Keane (15 Mil), Voronin (3 Mil), Lucus (3 Mil), Babel (9 Mil), Dossena (5 Mil), Leto (1 Mil), Hobbs (500K), Anderson (500K), Hammill (500K).

Championship manager stuff I know but we would be able set up in any number of ways and have a very strong bench.

I was saying sign Srna when we were linked with Simao. He is a good player. A bit of a diver but very physically capble. I think he would be suited to the premiership too.

No way are you going to be able to sign any of those players for those amounts. Hangeland maybe. But Tevez for 23Mil? No chance. Right now he is 22Mil to Utd and thats because they have already paid 9Mil. Barry will be around 12Mil and Silva will be 20Mil minimum.

Thats not to bad is it with the Crouch money still owed to us we could get him for 5-8m and when we sell dossena the net will almost be zero.

Hopefully with Rafa looking after the full control in the transfer market he looks like he could get some good whelling and dealing done

Just don't sell Xabi.

just wondering if anyone would take a chance on duff, im sure we could get him for a low figure if (when) the gordies go down, i know he had his problems with fitness and injury (30 now) but he was once a good looking prospect on the wing...just a thought could be good back up if were tight for money............

Ive watched Dzeko a few times on Setanta and if Chelsea get him for 6 million ,he will be the bargain of the decade ,he looks like a 20 million plus striker .

that, 15 mill is way too much for that guy. Srna would be a much better option.
