100% agree.

Brum have released a statement saying he's not for sale.

So expect to see him in red very soon.

Can I just say that I reckon we might be looking for an attacking central midfielder as well as the RMs and forwards. We've been talking to Gary O'Neill too.

Would rather we got Aimar than O'Neill. Aimar could play in the attacking mid role.

Surprised at this though as you would think, provided we get a RM player, that Stevie G would play that role.

I think the reports did say that we were 'lining up a bid' and not that we have actually tabled one.

The Reds have been linked with a £3.5million swoop for the Birmingham City winger in recent weeks, following their Blues’ relegation from The Premiership.

Although the player insists he is happy to stay at St Andrews and the club have assured their fans there is no need to sell, it would be difficult to reject a suitable offer.

"We aim to go into the Championship with the best squad in the league," managing director Karren Brady told the club website. "We want to get out as soon as possible so we will be buying not selling."

It is now being reported that Gerrard has spoke with Rafael Benitez, and has advised the Anfield boss to make a move to bring the 23-year-old Pennant to Merseyside in time for next season.

Crouchie is not a good header of the ball...

The best headed goal he scored for Liverpool was against ManUre.

Weither a cross is put in the goal with a head or foot is not the issue, we still don't have a natural right winger who won't continuously cut in field rather than whip a cross in.
