The only player from memory RA has ever failed to sign was Gerrard, otherwise as you say, money talks and players walk.

They were discussing this on Talk Sport this morning and stated that R A will pay whatever it takes to get Torres.

If this had been the old Liverpool I would say no way would they sell their prized asset but I just do not trust the yanks. If they are on the way out why would'nt they not cash in.

Torres won't go. Why would Rafa want to sell him? Anyway, selling Torres would be a disaster for our club. It would set us back a good few years and Carra, Gerrard in fact the whole team would become despondant. Where then could we end up in the league if everybody is feeling this way.

Torres makes things happen. Currently we rely heavily on Torres and Gerrard, so we need to bring other quality players (if only we had money) to help all round. If Torres was to go, we'd loose that little bit of edge we have in front of goal.

So Colonel Abrom, take your mafia money else where.
