There has been a few reports around claiming Tottenham are considering trading striker Roman Pavlyuchenko to Liverpool for Yossi Benayoun. It reckons the Israeli plus £4 million could get the Russian striker. I think that Pav is a great striker but would be loathed to see Liverpool get rid of Benayoun.

i read that as well.

personally, i wouldnt give up a player who adds so much balance and attacking impetus to our team for one that umm. scores a couple of goals every year.

i mean, dont get me wrong. pavluchenko's okay. but that's the stark reality of it. he's just okay

benny anyday.

They can have Riera, but not Benny.  Pavluchenko is actually a very good striker if you give him a chance.

I would take Pavlyuchenko, he is a good player and would be a good foil to Torres.

He complained about being second fiddle to Defoe & Crouch at Spurs.
Sees too much in himself as a starter.
It will blow his mind playing reserve to Torres.
