He didn't give a damn when he left us, and his words when he joined Chelsea with regards to joining a bigger club and the way he disregarded everything to do with Liverpool makes me laugh. Not often does comeuppance make an appearance but when it does, its to be enjoyed. Its not sad what's happened to him, its just desserts. Like Michael Owen didn't give Rafa a chance, Torres never gave Kenny a chance, and the club have moved on.

Sad what has happened to him? no, hilarious? oh yeah ! :D

Fair point. I was hurt too but at the end of the day if it meant forgiving to get back that striker we signed in 2007 I would.

If Kenny approached him and convinced him to return. He made a heartfelt apology. Would you give him a chance?

guarantee it's the 2007 striker then I'd snap your hands off, though if its the one that we're currently seeing I'd say fk no!

Well yeah of course but that has been my argument all along. He isn't a bad player, he is a player whose style is not working at a club who isn't interested in making it work.

I think we all know he would score goals here again.

he isn't the same player we had in 2007, I doubt he would get his form back in England

And that's exactly who we should be signing, enough of this Torres nonsense, he is finished as a footballer

I wouldnt have a problem taking him back, we all make mistakes. However, either he bounces back within 2 months or its hasta la vista baby. He's exactly the kind of finisher we need.

A guy who scored 81 goals for us must be always welcomed.
If he´s at low cost I´d get him back.

Thanks, but no thanks.

He could be a free agent offering to play for nothing and I still wouldn't take him back. We got the best years out of him, he's finished as a top class footballer.

Torres against Leicester has been immense, him and Meireles just have this natural understanding.

Torres has scored two and set up two today, he looks quick, composed and has a smile on his face. I wonder if Di Matteo will be the manager to help Torres rediscover the form that made him a massive hit with our club?

Wow, scored twice against Leicester, his scoring record in the premiership is still something like 1.6 per manager

Di Matteo can keep the squad happy now, but what next year when half the squad are closer to 40 than 30?
