What a complete and utter tool piece.

If the board says four minutes extra, and then a substitution by a team which is winning 1-0 takes two minutes, he is within his rights to add it on. It doesn't mean though that by scoring a goal the Mancs automatically earn themselves another 30 seconds to get the winner. Nor does it mean that if they make a sub and one bloke sprints on and another sprints off they are automatically awarded another 30 seconds to go in search. Not for the first time, Ferguson is talking out of his ersehole.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if he's almost drawing a fine off the FA and I hope they see through it. Everyone in football knew that what went on against Man City was a fecking disgrace, and his outburst here seems almost too stupid and badly timed to be true. I think he's deliberately given the FA the perfect opportunity to fine him 20 grand and warn him about his future conduct, simply so he can pretend that it's all equal and he's been badly treated.
The reality is though it isn't all equal. They will finish the season with two points more than they should have, and fining the c... 20 grand isn't going to make a blind bit of difference. What the FA should do is fine him the 20 grand, ban him from the touchline for six Home matches and publically issue a statement that they are severely concerned that Manchester United Football Club are trying to exert undue influence over referees, both in the matches they are playing and in future encounters. Further to that, they should once again publically speak to the referees association and let them know that any referee who feels they come under any undue pressure at Old Trafford should include full details in their report. They should also inform Manchester United in writing that they are severely concerned about the conduct of the manager, and any future breaches of conduct guidelines could lead to points deductions.
To publically come out and say the ref is unfit to officiate is absolutely outrageous. Ferguson is definately IMHO looking for a bit of a slap on the wrist, they should surprise him by forgetting about the wrist and kicking him straight in the b0ll0cks.
