No surprises in the games this far. Might not have been smooth sailing for a few but the teams you expect to win did.

Interesting to see how Chelsea stack up against City tomorrow. A draw sounds great but think I'd rather see City drop the 3 points tbh.

Despite a squad of 43, yep that's right, they still didn't pick 11 to even earn a point.
That "club" disgusts me.
Both of them, actually.

Ok, it's not the PL, but Xabi's Leverkusen were just beaten in the league, at home.
Interesting

Haaland ripping apart epl soo early, guess not going to euros helps. Wonder if things will be different for City in first half of season compared to how they usually do.

Yup Leipzig won from 2-0 down. No last min winner for Leverkusen this time.

Barca doing well so far in La Liga.

7mins added time...City scored on 90+8 mins

Arsenal bottled it again. City happy with a draw at home against 10 man Arsenal

Without Rodri, City is ready for taking. A draw is best results for us

Yup draw is best result, had Arsenal won it would've been a remarkable result after the tough fixtures they've had. Also the draw halts City winning run.

Good question. I wanted City to win tbh, I don't think we can compete with City for the title so our only hope would be for them to rightfully get points docked, at the very least. Arsenal, although not an easy rival at all, we at least might have a chance against them.

In any case it ended in a draw which is also a decent result for us.

I was conflicted aswel, I've given my reasons for draw but as you said "IF" City are docked points them winning would've been better I guess. On the other hand City are the main contenders so them losing would've helped us "IF" we mount a challenge.

I am actually happy that they both dropped points. The chances of the hearing being brought to a conclusion by the end of the current season is extremely doubtful. City’s lawyers have successfully managed to delay proceedings for several years and in my opinion they will continue with that tactic.

I’ve always been aware that Rodri is a key player but I didn’t realise it was to the extent of him missing 11 matches and City losing four of them !! Whilst I wouldn’t wish the lad any serious harm It would be good to see him out of the team for a few months.

Ahh if only we strengthened in the summer. Our only hope is for main lads to stay injury free, Diaz to have an unbelievable season and Nunez somehow improving his accuracy. I just feel we will finish 3rd and fall short, similar to last season.

That was a really poor performance from United, but for some lax finishing from Spurs it could have easily been 4 or 5 nil in the opening 20 minutes, ETH was lucky Werner was playing instead of Song. In some ways getting a man sent off and keeping the score down to 3 muddies the waters somewhat and probably helps get him off the hook. They really were open at the back, as Neville said at the end of the first half that was about as bad a 45 minutes of football that he'd seen in ETH's 3 years at the club.
