Nah......i only see it being good news for him if he plays for cameroon. This way...he would be "THE" striker for cameroon once eto retires.

More games for him....and more chances for him to improve.

Why cash him , he's done alright and looks like a decent prospect . Just needs a couple of games under his belt like today , hopefully he does well and we win

not now. maybe in the future when he wants to leave, or we have a better option. football is unpredictable after all. who knew we would sign a player for sucha huge amount and sell him 6 months later to the same club we bought him from?  :D

I think it's a bit harsh to call Wash clueless but he's certainly not a premiership callibre striker.

Good enough for FA or League Cup... for now... but he's not hopeless, he's 20 years old, give the man a bit more time.Voronin for example is the hopless guy.Should have sold him to Hertha.

I cannot understand how Babel who is a much better striker than Ngog does not get a run up front at all & this young inexperienced frenchboy gets the call up instead. It's not really fair to put this young player under so much pressure in the boots of Torres & say, ok now score lots of goals.

Ngog needs a few more years in the reserve team before he gets a first team spot.

I actually cannot agree with you there. Older others maybe, but better they are not. To me, N'Gog has shown enough to be preferred ahead of babel and voronin, who offer so little it is unbelievable! They should be shipped out ASAP.

I think if you are good enough you are old enough. Iker Casillas was Real Madrid 1st choice keeper at 17!

That said, N'gog is no world-beater yet.. but I believe he will come good.. his skills and footwork are quite commendable TBH. And with torres out, we have no choice but to use him ahead of others.

who do people think would be the ideal partner for N'gog (assuming Torres is hurt)?

Babel? Kuyt? Gerrard? Yossi? Pacheco?

To me, it doesn't seem like Gerrard plays well with N'gog. If I was playing N'gog up front I would also drop Gerrard back and play either Yossi or Pacheco behind N'gog.

Well I wonder why Stevie doesn't play well with Wash, could it be that Wash is an extremely average striker. If he is the second best striker we have at the club then it is a very sorry state of affairs. I'd like to see someone else given a go and as long as Torres is out I think we need to play 4-4-2 with Stevie alongside Mascha.

Ngog is getting a go and is scoring a goal every other game - 4 goals in 8 games played so far this season - what more do you want from a young lad - oh and last few havent been tap ins as well so i see that line from you has stopped.
