Totally agree, fecking pointless match and if Gerrard has so much as broken a fingernail, he shouldn't be going anywhere near it. Capello doesn't fecking respect him anyway keep fecking him about playing him on the left of the diamond and all that sh!te, I'd be sorely tempted to tell them to poke it on a permanent basis if I was Gerrard.

Yeah if I was Gerrard I would be having those thoughts, He is by far England's best player and the team should be built around him not playing him in a stupid position every game.

I disagree actually, I think all the lads proved against Atletico that they need at least one more game to get their sh1t together.

yep.. was actually looking forward to seeing how our guys do in a slightly more competitive environment.. guess Gerrard isnt that big a worry but still....

Unless he's fully fit he shouldn't be risked imo.

We're perfectly capable of going there and winning without him.

Didn't we beat the mancs without Gerrard AND Torres playing a full part? Still it might be better to play him given we've lost Alonso and Aquilani isn't yet fit is he?

He obviously isn't match fit. He has done some ball training before he came here but mostly he has just been doing light physio work.
