Relax  ,Sky Sports are saying it's NOT serious . They say the pitch however is in a very very poor condition .

Steven Gerrard this evening limped out of training at the S Darius & S Girenas Stadium in Lithuania but Liverpoolfc.tv can allay fears that the injury is serious.
The Reds skipper was being put through his paces alongside the rest of the squad ahead of the Champions League second round qualifier against FBK Kaunas when he suffered a knock on the ankle that forced him to leave the session prematurely.

He was immediately treated with packs of ice and the club officials are confident that he'll be available for selection as Liverpool continue their defence of the trophy against the Lithuanian champions.

phew! I was getting worried there for a minute. Hopefully he can be rested anyway and we won't need to risk agrivating it.

pitch is a sh.ithole there was a javelling competition on it yesterday, this is what you have to put up with drawing against poor clubs. Anfields pitch is a dream the best in the country. And if its that bad I dont expect to see Xabi or Cisse playing tomorrow.

Neither do I CGGY, I expect Sissoko to start alongside Hamann and Baros alongside Crouch.

I am hoping Sissoko gets paired with Hamann, that would be a feirce partnership.
