welcome to the club, I have no idea what to expect from this guy :D

is he an attacking type or defensive, or his he capable of doing both, when he's not injured of course :D

I reckone theres still another signing due this summer, hopefully Rafa will have a word with some Valencia reps tonight
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

aqualini is a flair based creative midfielder, when ive seen him play in the past he reminds me of matt le tisser in technique in the middle of the park

potentially amazing but we will see

If he's so good then why would Roma want to sell him?
He wanted the move? We offered a price Roma couldn't refuse? Excess player in Roma's squad? ??? ???

I sincerely hopes he stays injury-free. It would be nightmarish if he ends up like Arsenal's Nasri.

Now we just need Silva and the circle is complete because I honestly don't feel any impact with Aquilani coming in. I feel more nervous than excited. When we bought Torres I was over the moon, pic of him holding the Liverpool scarf in the red jersey dominated my wallpaper for months.

Would fans of the other EPL Top-4 think "woah.. I wish we had that player" ???  because this will be a good gauge of how much psychological impact the signing will be.

This guy isn't a patch on Xabi from what I've seen of him over the last few years.

Brittle as well.

it dont always work like that though

many top players end up flopping cause they have nothing else to prove in their career.......eg shevchenko

id prefer these kinda signings to big players any day

exactly why fergie brought valencia over some massive named ego type winger........

Roma are skint and need to sell players .

Just because a team sells a player doesnt mean they dont rate him

I reckon this could be the deal that makes or breaks Rafa's time as Liverpool boss.

I really hope he's great for this club, and fits in straight away. I'm saddened by the nes of Xabi going but I reckon a good shake up is just what we needed so here's to a great season for LFC!!
