Well Heimdall someone being rested is a lot different than someone being dropped - or do you disagree with that statement as well now

When did i loose any argument in this thread about your nonsense comment about torres and gerrard ?

No i do not see Lucas up to the level of torres or gerrard and being automatic starts.

No don't disagree with that at all, in fact it's what I said myself 5-6 posts back, just that didn't suit your argument.  :no  :D

In my mind you're a looser.......er you lost this argument I mean.

So you don't think Lucas will ever improve to the point he becomes an automatic pick for the first XI, in that case why the hell keep him when there must be more talented prospects out there, hell maybe they are already in the club.

Automatic starters are the top world class players who walk into any team - Lucas in my eyes will prove himself to be good enough to be a back up to those players and show himself to be capable of stepping in when needed and not effecting the team in a negative way and also help contribute to winning games - well he has already done that plenty of times this season - 20 odd games minus a couple of mistakes ie penalty and the free kick he gave away .

Ok here it is in a nutshell for you Heimdall

You stated that if Tevez arrived you thought that Torres and Gerrard would no longer be automatic startes for Liverpool - Both myslef and others thought that was hilarious to suggest that two of the best players in the world wouldnt be automatic starters and we laughed at the suggestion and totally disagred with you . You then moved the goalposts and were saying that you meant that during the game if they were playing poor Tevez can replace them - that to me and others is different to be automatic starters. You then went on about them not being picked if they were poor in training which is something you would never be privvy too and in my eyes is something that if ever would rarely happen to two of the best players in the world . You also advocated the fact you would be happy if Torres or Gerrard were dropped in favour of Tevez ?!?!?

Am i missing anything yet ?

A brain...?
:;):

So
Torres wasnt dropped he was rested?
According to your logic then he will never be dropped because he will either be injured or rested. Therefore he is always automatic first choice even when he isnt.
You are a fuc'king genius

You are my new hero.  :bowdown  :bowdown
Glad to see some people on here actually have a brain.  :D

All I am and was saying is that Tevez would give Rafa extra options and MIGHT lead to Gerrard and Torres not being automatic choices which is a good thing. You see I don't like it when players are automatic picks for the team, every player should have to prove themselves worthy every single week in training of pulling on the jersey? Every player should have genuine competition for their place, that is what you have at Manure and is why their players are so much hungrier for success at all times during the season, not just the last few months.

You mean the same world class brom that torres struggled against and had us on the rack for large parts of the game .

I thought he played really well yesterday again. His off the ball running in particular, was excellent.

Its just a shame majority of his best displays have come away from home where the f#ckwits aren't there to boo him.

And its the teams like west brom we have failed to beat during the season with all our superstars playing yet when lucas plays well against a team like that and we win the importance gets shot down .

I thought he had a good game ,  he was there to block fortune off ( arbeloa should have been tracking him) and if that had gone in , it could have been a very different game . Passing was decent and we saw his little surging run , pulled a fantastic save out of kiely . More games for the lad and we could have a very good player on our hands .

People forget he is just a young lad.

He's got much better since he had his hair cut. I think the problem might have been he couldn't hear his team mates with those golden locks covering his ears.

Id send him out on loan so he gets regular football. Right now he isn't good enough to take the place of Xabi or Masch but regular footy is bound to at the very least show us what he is made of if given a run. However I don't think we can afford to given how tight we will be with money this summer.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.
