Don't shoot the messenger
Just reporting what was said!
The press love :censored: stirring about us at the moment.
Doesn't make any sense for us to sell at the moment with only a few days of the window left.

Yes - if he was to sell Keane now it would leave us short of striking options.
Keane is never gonna be a prolific scorer and Ngog is not the answer.
Most likely he could go in the summer

Doubt we will get our money back given his age and current form!
And who could we buy as an alternative?
Owen may have been an option but he is injured ( again )

Problem is most of the decent creative players could be out of our budget given our current financial situation - but I guess if we get a sizeable part of the fee back it could help

Didnt Rafa say he has 3 months left to prove himself? So unless he was getting someone decent in excahnge I cant see Rafa letting him go till the Summer. Personally though I would rather see him go now.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Makes you wonder why we ever purchased Keane anyway?
Our manager's favoured formation doesn't include him
He drops him when he actually scores
He is regularly subbed
I know he hasn't helped himself with some bad misses but has he had a fair crack of the whip?

i was shocked when we bought and couldnt understand it - i certainly didnt think we should of splashed that amount of money on a striker - yeah we needed back up for torres but we needed a lot more important areas solving before that
