Rafa needs to change something as Everton doinated us to be fair. We may have had the lions share of possession and the more shots at goal. But tbh everton never looked stretched.

We need to up the tempo of the way we play, we are far too bloody slow in our build up at the moment. We have :censored: all movement from the wingers.

Get Riera on the left permanent, get Kuyt out of the club and give Babel a prolonged stint on the right.

Not sure how Everton dominated us mate, we dominated the game but seemed short of ideas. Typical home game for us, the away team come and camp in there own half and we struggle to break them down.
I agree about tempo, that was something that we were lacking and often do in home games we seem to plod along and not up the tempo until near the end, by then the other team have got into the game and its harder to break them down anyway.
Also cant see what Babel has done to warrant any time in the team, he has been abysmal this season.

Most reports say thar Rafa did not talk to Keane when he was not picked and he has not spoken to him since.

So i take it Rafa dont feel that he should talk to a 20mil striker and tell him he has not made the team.
No wonder Keane is mad.

Poor man management there Rafa.

"Asked why Keane was not involved, Benítez replied: “He was not selected. We have a very good squad. I haven’t seen him but he has to be disappointed. Normally all the players want to be in the squad.”

agreed Ace. Babel has been woeful. Much prefer Riera

In the early part of the season we were much stronger, had more ideas and ground wins from nothing (ie: 3-2 against man city). Why has that dissappeared??

Since the defeat to Spurs, our bubble seems to have burst!

6 or 7 home draws on the bounce now isnt it. NOT GOOD ENOUGH IMO

Why shouldn't he. There's not that many first team players who aren't selected. Particularly first team regulars, it's not hard to make a phone call.

Maybe maybe not - maybe he just posts his team and then gets on with it - no one else has ever reported a problem about being told if he is in the team or not ? and like i said its just reports and speculation about what has happened with keane yesterday

??? What game where you watching?

I will be very suprised if he is still here when the transfer window shuts, I think we should do a swap for the russian fella at Spurs Pavlichenko or however you spell it.

in the grand scale of things robbie keane has not had a lot of time on the pitch, as compared to Kuyt for example

League games, he has had more than all bar 6 others - all of whom are part of the spine.
