RockNRolla, pretty good London gangster movie similar "feel" to lock stock and two smoking barrels with some russians thrown in . Deffo worth a watch 7/10

ps haven't checked the cast list but I'm sure Ari from Entourage is in there as an American record producer.  :D

I hate Guy Ritchies movies with an unbridled passion!IMO one of the if not the most over rated movie makers on the planet.Absolute shi'te from Lock stock and up to this new one!

Total balls..lets curse be violent and talk cockney..his films are like what eastenders should be like..absolute shi't..Im surprised you get anything out of them Woof..really am!
Shi'te actors, cheesy dialogue total balls hate all his movies!
Wanna see how a movie should be made with using British actors watch Eden Lake.
Ritchie would have fuc'ked that up too..He'd have brought out an AK47 or something 10 mins in and killed the tension. He is cr@p,cant build a story..total useless!
Rant over..nothing personal unless you are Guy Ritchie! :)

Thought I was the only one that hated this guy's (no pun intended) with a passion.
Put myself through Lock Stock and all I can say is, that's two hours of me life down the shitter!!!

Can't believe he's being allowed to destroy a british legend like Sherlock Holmes. Probably have him saying "Fackin' elementary you cant Watson"!!!   :no

Wanna see how a movie should be made with using British actors watch Eden Lake.

Could not disagree more, have you seen Lock Stock? It's brilliant, the dialogue is witty and clever, the cinematography is brilliant and the acting superb.
Eden Lake... How can you compare the two? Completely different genres. compare Eden Lake with films like the descent or other Neil Marshall films or maybe Nick Love with films like outlaw.

Ritchie tells layered stories, multi characters all culminating in one larger story... more layer cake than Eden Lake. Possibly as Matthew Vaughn, director or Layer cake produced lock stock and Snatch.

Maybe you don't like him because he stereotypes everyone. The scousers are thieves, the pikeys are... pikeys, the londoners all want a nice cup of tea, but there is more than that. There is a larger social commentary. the social education isn't forced on you like it is Eden Lake, it is more subtle,. the darkness is more humourous and the film is just better.
I rest my case m'lord

Oh, and on the subject of Sherlock Holmes, if you read the books you would know Sherlock Holmes was a boxer/martial artist, not a stuffy ratbone or whatever. And Watson wasn';t an overweight buffoon.

You wanna see someone butcher a film? Wait until Nick 'can't make a good film to save my life' Love remaieks the Sweeney or James Watkins (he made Eden Lake) somehow makes the Descent 2... with all the same characters???

I got made to watch one of those Saw films; it's gutter material.

Can we honestly say there is a "storyline".
