Also watched "The Wrestler" which is getting a lot of hype over Mickey Roukes performance. His performance was good but not that good and the movie itself was pretty average. 6/10

I read the reviews for this when it came out and everyone was pretty mean, particularly about Emile Hirsh. So I forgot about it. Then it came on Sky movies.
This is possibly the best film I have seen in the last 10 years or more. Everything is almost perfect. The acting, the script, the directing. the soundtrack...everything. From Hirsh to Keener, Vaughan to Halbrook, I honestly could not say a bad word about it. One of the most moving films I have ever seen. Watch it.
imo but anyway the film is ace. 10/10. Bam wrote:Gran Torino, fecking brilliant movie. Clint Eastwood at his best IMO.

Quite funny movie, but Clint looks ninety. Good send up of his cowboy persona and a cracking ending.

This is Tom cruises new film about a plot to kill Hitler during WW2 by his own men. I read some mixed reviews about it but i enjoyed it and although I knew the outcome it was still a good thriller throughout. The only problem I had was that there was no Germans accents, Cruise played a German yet spoke with a American accent and there were plenty more Germans with strong British accents
7.5/10
