Yes they are both under pressure to produce more, which is only to be expected when you pay stupid amounts of money for players who then struggle.
Sadly the fact that Berbatov or even Jo at Man city have proved to be unsuccessful hardly makes Keane value for money up to now. Better to wait to the end of the season and see who has the goals and the medals before we decide who are the flops and who are the tops.
The one thing it does show ...... how fkn great is Torres

I think if you look at the amount of starts berbatov has had as opposed to Keane, you may find why people think he has had a worse start. If this isn't the case and my futile attempts to protect Keane have failed i apologise in advance
Berbatov 20 apps, Keane 26 apps , so I would imagine that with the number of times Keane has been subbed they have played for about the same amount of time?

Why the clamor to play 2 up top when we've got ourselves in pole position without it?

if rafa sticks to the one forward formation he will either rotate keane and torres to accommodate that. The only way to play keane and torres together is with both of them upfront. Typical 4-4-2 i guess.

I don't live in Wigan or Bolton ......never have and never will. Is that really the best you can come up with ?

Did you not know that only scousers are allowed to support Liverpool?
Go support Leigh RMI!!

(if thats where you live)
Did neil get banned for that and telling Bob to find a new forum??

Can't see how those comments merit a ban?
Maybe Bob will fill us in?
See The Real World, mate.

I've never been a big fan of one up front as i feel the striker gets isolated and is up against 4 defenders . We've got two top strikers in the squad and should be looking to play both whenever we can . Keane playing behind torres as a 2nd striker where he has always been more effective and successful

Agreed. One up is extremely limited and will only work if the midfield is fully attack minded and follows the ball into the box.
Quite often the single Liverpool striker is left stranded on his own with nowhere to go and the attack has broken down.
