Kuyt was poor today.  Still fail to see what he brings to the side.  His decision making more times than not is wrong.  I'm pleased with the result but do think we could of went for it more against 10 men.

Well, something had to give, or go...and Pistol Pete shot his mouth off one too many times.

Too bad. He will be sorely missed.

We were the better side until Adebayor got sent off.  Then 4 things happened:

1) We took our foot off the gas
2) Tiredness crept into our play
3) The crowd actually got behind the home team
4) Arsenal played less open and once again we struggled to break a team down.

It actually would have suited us better if Adebayor had stayed on and they'd gone for the win.  I would have fancied us to pick them off.

Didn't rate Agger today, thought he was a liability at times, but again Benitez has been chopping and changing the centre backs recently.  Thought Insua, Lucas and Alonso had good games.  Gerrard was poor by his standards and missed a sitter.  Keane had a great first half but faded second, great finish for his goal, but there was an even better one from Van Persie at the other.

Why does Wenger not start with Diaby more??  The kid is immense every time I see him play.  He actually improved their midfield when he came on for Fabregas.  Wenger should definitely be pairing those two more, Song and Denilson are average at best imo.

All in all I can't decide whether I'm happy with the result or not.  A draw away at Arsenal after being a goal down is good, but for periods of that game they were there for the taking and we didn't put them to the sword.

Good post John, I was saying the samething when Adebayour was sent off! We were doing well until the sending off lol!

Hi can read all he likes (hi Petey! :D ) but he won't be posting in here again.  The idea of questioning Nan's support. :no

I defend the right of people to have a moan, but he was well overdue for a ban. I honestly don't believe he was a Liverpool fan. Having a go at Nanny was inexcusable as well.

the basic gist of the fella's posts was ok. he's unhappy with the style of football we play and he doesn't trust benitez's buys or man management. fair enough, there's plenty on here that feel the same. if only he'd had something else to say, or was able to expand a little on the idea. and if only he wasn't such an obvious díckhead.

Can't disagree with that mate. that's football for ya, I was dead chuffed when they went down to 10 men but 15 minutes later I was saying to me mate that i reckoned we was better off playing against 11. Credit to Arsenal though, they were excellent the minute they lost snoop dog and i think our lads were a bit nervous of getting caught on the break. IF we had a big man on the bench he would have been ideal for today and hopefully that is something the manager will rectify in the window.

Agree on Lucas, i though he was excellent today, particularly with the backdrop of criticism that has come his way the past few weeks. Whether you like him or not, it's always good to see a player respond when the wolves are out.

I am still here. My English sucks,so I can`t express myself properly. I love you all guys, but Nanny thinks he knows football better by going to the games. No chance :no

It's got nothing to do with your English pal and going the game doesn't guarantee anything either it's more to do with the fact you could write what you know about football on the back of a stamp...

Well, one point in Arsenal home, is not a bad result, however after Adebayor´s sent off, expect more.
Tomorrow  will see, if we still staying in the top.
