I think the way we are using our subs shows the lack of depth in the squad. We really need to strengthen even when Torres returns.

We are having to play too many players who look out of form, just because we have no one decent to replace them with. I thought we lost the midfield battle in the first 5 minutes and it was only when Fabregas went off that we actually started to play, unfortunately we still never looked like a team at the top of the league.

Effort we had in abundance, quality and skill we looked sorely lacking.

I think it says it all when the best attacking option we have to bring on are reserve quality players like Ngog and El Zhar, with a makeshift mid-field containing Lucas. Babel was just completely terrible when he came out. No impact at all out of him. Needs to try harder, or I wouldn't mind seeing him go come January if we can get a quality striker for replacement. Considering the manager wasn't there, and the team available, we did OK, I felt. This game was a worry to me before we played it seeing as Arsenal have had a knack for turning it on against the bigger sides this season. The transfer window will make or break our season, I feel. It's key that Rafa gets the right back-up.

Don't think there is any balls on transfer market atm.

Rafa does need some.

football through the eyes of the gladiator. Ryan is not Russell Crowe,so he is not capable of beating everyone without help of his team mates. Other players were far better through season, yeah, right

This result is OK, we played a side that has raised its game all season against the bigger teams. Yeah we played against 10 men, but they felt an injustice and the crowd got behind them and they put the effort in for the last 30 mins, it happens.

Our costly mistakes have been drawing too often against the dross of the premiership,West Ham, Stoke etc. Those home games should have cost us, but as it is they have not. We are still in with a very good shout, have one of the best strikers in the world still to come back, and the knowledge that so far this season, bar 3 games, we have not played to the level we can.

Look, you muppet - who signed the likes of Xabi Alonso, Riera, Reina, Mascherano, Torres, and kept Gerrard at the club? There were years when we looked at the likes of Arsenal and the Milan's of this world with your Henry's and Shevshenko's as super star strikers, where we had Emile Heskey and Stan f*cking Collymore. Who do we have today? That's right, you ungrateful little w@nker - we've only got the best striker on the planet. The one that all other clubs now covet. Who's that down to? That's right - Benitez.

While am dissapointed we did not seek to take advantage of their being 1-man down and all, there's need for perspective here.  We will not win the PL at the emirates, the bridge, or old toilet...I am more worried about the games with hull, boro, fulham, etc...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.
